Huawei, Wedneasday announced the general availability of SAP HANA, the in-memory database on Huawei’s cloud virtualization platform, FusionSphere 5.1 to cater for cloud services, manufacturing and telecommunications. 

It combines Huawei's server, storage and networking components with the FusionSphere operating system, integrating FusionCompute virtualization platform and FusionManager cloud management software, with support for OpenStack.

Huawei and SAP established a co-innovation center in 2015, located at Huawei’s Shenzhen campus, demonstrating their commitment to continuous investment in cloud computing and Big Data to create more valuable solutions for customers.

With the Huawei cloud data center and enterprise network, together with SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA (SAP S/4HANA), SAP plans to develop new solutions and set industry directions for manufacturing, telecom, public service, energy and more.
