65.7 million Mobile Broadband users in Brazil (Feb 2013)

The number of mobile broadband accesses in Brazil reached 65.7 million in February 2013, according to a study by Huawei and the Teleco consultancy.

The figure represents a 11 percent increase compared to December 2012 (59.2 million), and the total is expected to reach 82 million by the end of the year and 124 million in 2014. 3G accounts for 22.5 percent of mobile broadband connections in the country, while GSM has 72.4 percent.
