Telia subsidiary Cygate Oy acquires the identity and access right management pioneer Propentus Oy.

The acquisition supports Telia’s strategy to invest in services that reinforce its core business. With the acquisition, Cygate Oy, known for its strong cyber security expertise, is able to offer its customers more extensive total solutions for information security. 

Propentus is a Finnish enterprise software company specialised in identity and access rights management, with core competences in information security, risk management and the implementation of cyber security. Propentus, based in Kouvola, has 55 employees and its services are used in over 30 countries.

With the acquisition, Cygate is able to provide its customers more comprehensive services.
