Sierra Wireless, the leading provider of fully integrated device-to-cloud solutions for the IoT, has completed the acquisition of M2M device company Numerex after it receives greenlight from majority shareholders from both companies.

Sierra Wireless announced in August that it had acquired  Numerex for approximately $107 million. The acquisition expands Sierra Wireless’ position as a leading global IoT pure-play and will significantly increase its subscription-based recurring services revenue.

In connection with the completion of the Merger, Numerex has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sierra Wireless and Numerex common stock will be delisted from the Nasdaq.
