Tango Telecom, a leading provider of Data Monetization Solutions, Wednesday announced that Manx Telecom has selected Tango Telecom’s virtualised iAX™ SCP to enable the rapid monetization of its voice, messaging and data services for all access networks, services, devices and payment methods. The contract is part of a joint Cerillion Technologies / Tango Telecom project to transform Manx Telecom’s infrastructure to support fully convergent services while leveraging the cost and resource efficiencies of a fully virtualised platform.

According to Tango Telecom, the iAX™ SCP provides a scalable and robust solution to the challenge of charging in real-time for mobile services through real-time service metering and control.  It enables operators to aggressively respond to market changes by dramatically reducing time to revenue for new services, plans and promotions. The Tango Telecom solution is fully virtualised, offering Manx Telecom the ability to benefit from the many advantages of network functions virtualisation (NFV).

Manx Telecom is the leading communication solutions provider on the Isle of Man, offering a wide range of fixed line, broadband, mobile, and data centre services to businesses, consumers and the public sector on the Isle of Man as well as a growing portfolio of innovative hosting and “Smart SIM” solutions to off-Island customers.

Kevin Paige, CTO, Manx Telecom
Working with Tango Telecom and Cerillion offers us the ability to maximise customer satisfaction and loyalty by significantly improving our subscriber engagement and service velocity. It allows us to offer our subscribers highly innovative and flexible propositions across all services and access networks. The joint solution is a key enabler for us to differentiate our services and maximise the return on the investments we have made in our fixed and mobile network infrastructure.
