Amsterdam Comes Alive with IBC2014

The International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2014 is taking place right now at the RAI, Amsterdam. The event that started on 11th of September will last until 16th of September, showcasing some of the latest technologies in the broadcasting sphere. IBC said that the event will attract more than 50,000 attendees from more than 170 countries and brings more than 1,4000 suppliers of electronic media technology.

For telecom professionals, the broadcasting segment is quickly becoming a core area within the delivery of telecommunications services, and with quad-play players and the advent of multi-screen technologies that sees content being delivered across fixed and mobile screens, the IBC is certainly a place to be to explore how both the broadcasting and telecommunications segments will converge and what may be expected when they do.

In the meantime, here are some pictures and tweets from the event that'll most probably have you booking your diary for the next IBC!
