The 2015 GSMA Mobile World Congress Shanghai which took place from the 15th to the 17th of July this year saw more than 40,000 unique visitors from over 100 countries participating in various events and programmes to experience the unlimited possibilities enabled by mobile.

According to GSMA, the event which was held across three halls at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC) saw more than 350 exhibitors and sponsors showcasing their solutions and initiatives in the mobile space. MWC Shanghai's conference programme, said GSMA, drew more than 3,400 attendees, with over 55 per cent of delegates holding C-level positions, including over 350 CEOs. Interestingly, the Mobile World Congress Shanghai was held alongside the first Shanghai Digital Information Festival at the SNIEC and attendees were able to visit both events.
