Vodafone and Idea have announced the launch of a new integrated brand identity - Vi (read as “We”), two years after the merger of both telecom companies.

Vodafone Idea (VIL) communicated its new unified consumer brand identity and positioning through a recent virtual launch. The unification of the two brands will culminate in the largest telecom integration in the world to date.

Vi has been positioned as a strong, ever-dependable, agile and intuitive brand in tune with the needs of the customers, especially during these ever-changing times. It is designed to help customers move ahead in life, for a better today and a brighter tomorrow.

The brand integration is aimed at offering world-class digital experiences to the one billion Indian subscriber base on VIL's existing 4G network, as well as acting in the best interests of its customers, stakeholders, communities and employees. The new entity will continue to work towards its commitment to be a Champion for Digital India, as stated by VIL in a recent press statement.

Ravinder Takkar, MD and CEO, Vodafone Idea
We have since then focused on integrating two large networks, our people and processes. And today, I am delighted to present Vi, a brand that will bring important meaning to the lives of our customers. Indians are optimistic and want to get ahead in life.

Kavita Nair, Chief Digital Transformation and Brand Officer, Vodafone Idea
In the months to come, Vi will continuously unpack exciting possibilities for its customers. Vi is built for the new age and for the connected ecosystem.
