Telefónica Deutschland which operates the O2 brand in Germany has partnered with ultra high performance Wi-Fi provider, Quantenna Communications to release a new generation of O2 HomeBox 2 in Germany.

The new device based on Quantenna 4x4 802.11ac Wave 2 QSR1000 chipset is designed to offer superior speed, range, efficiency and reliability to the ever-increasing connected devices in the home network. Its MU-MIMO support will further contribute to the increase of wireless home network capacity.
