MetroPCS is targeting customers of Sprint and its prepaid brands, Boost and Virgin Mobile in a campaign dubbed as "the greatest in the history of Sprint deal". For a limited time, Sprint customers can switch to MetroPCS with a discount off Sprint’s current Family Share Pack pricing together with a free low cost smartphone from Samsung, LG or Kyocera.
The prepaid brand of T-Mobile said that a customer switching one line of Unlimited LTE service would save 22% over Sprint’s current pricing, while a customer with two lines with 2GB of LTE data would save 50%.
T-Mobile claims that on average 5,000 customers are switching over from Sprint and its prepaid networks to MetroPCS.
November last year, Spint launched a major offer to cut rates in half for customers who switch from Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile.
