Ooredoo Myanmar, Facebook and the GSMA launched a digital literacy campaign to raise awareness and increase adoption of mobile internet in Myanmar.

The “Internet 1O1” (Internet One on One) campaign aims to inform and educate first time and new internet users, through one-on-one training at Ooredoo retail points and exclusive stores across the country, particularly in rural areas.

According to GSMA Intelligence, around 21 Million people are using mobile internet in Myanmar out of a population of 54.1 Million people. Internet 1O1 will be available to consumers in Ooredoo retail stores where in-store promoters will walk consumers through internet education materials.
