Baicells Technologies, a leading global provider of LTE and 5G NR network solutions, and Kajeet, a leading provider of wireless and IoT connectivity solutions, announced a partnership to deliver turnkey private cellular networks for the education sector.

In March this year, Kajeet announced its Private 5G Platform, a cloud-based solution which is designed to simplify and manage 5G and LTE private network deployments, with a focus on serving the education sector. The partnership with Baicells enables businesses to use Kajeet’s Private 5G Platform to deploy Baicells LTE radios and customer premises equipment (CPE), as part of a highly affordable turnkey network. The equipment can easily be upgraded to 5G radios as needed.

Kajeet has recently been named a finalist for the 2022 EdTech Awards by EdTech Digest. Baicells also has a strong track record of working with companies in the education sector, which includes joint projects at Santa Maria-Bonita School District. This combined experience will deliver a compelling solution for schools that require a private cellular network to give students and educators access to online educational materials. The two companies will also target other enterprise verticals like Logistics and Healthcare.

Minchul Ho, General Manager for North America at Baicells
Baicells and Kajeet’s legacy within the educational sector makes for an unmatched partnership for private LTE deployments. Using Kajeet’s cloud platform and Baicells high-performance LTE equipment, schools can quickly and affordably deliver connectivity for students to assist their education.

Derrick Frost, SVP & GM of Private Wireless at Kajeet
The mission of Kajeet is to connect unconnected students and communities with smart, simple and secure private wireless networks. Our partnership with Baicells will deliver high-quality, cost-effective turnkey cellular solutions that help school districts across the country quickly and easily connect underserved students. It is a major stepping-stone to help bridge the digital divide and provide affordable private wireless for all.
