Hausbank München eG, a specialized financial institution serving the Munich metropolitan region, has selected Kyndryl to oversee the relocation, modernization and operation of its datacenters. Hausbank München eG will benefit from Kyndryl's extensive experience in the financial sector.

Kyndryl will relocate two datacenters from Hausbank’s locations to its own high-availability datacenters in Frankfurt. As the bank’s new IT partner, Kyndryl will not only rebuild the dedicated server infrastructure and establish a modernized network, but also manage the operating system. The partnership will provide a future-proof private cloud-native platform based on Kubernetes, an open-source software automation system.

A major focus of the project will be to enable reliable, highly automated and secure operational processes for the bank through Kyndryl Bridge, an AI-powered integration platform that provides real-time visibility and operational insights.

Additionally, Kyndryl will enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of Hausbank with various IT security solutions such as a Managed SIEM platform. These services will be delivered from multiple Kyndryl delivery centers in the European Union.

Jan Keuntje, General Attorney and CIO, Hausbank München eG

We look forward to collaborating with Kyndryl and anticipate a fast and seamless implementation of the datacenter relocation. This will enable us to further expand our services and specialized software solutions for property owners and the real estate industry.

Markus Koerner, President, Kyndryl Germany

The financial sector is one of Kyndryl's most important industries. We serve about 70 major institutions worldwide. Thanks to our experience with the specific regulations in the financial services sector and the trusted collaboration with Hausbank München eG, we can tailor our services to meet the needs of this new customer individually.
