Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) group announced it’s ready to integrate the NVIDIA Blackwell platform into its infrastructure, with the goal of propelling Indonesia into a new era of sovereign AI and technological advancement.

The adoption of the NVIDIA Blackwell platform will help Indosat solidify a paradigm shift in how Indonesia harnesses the power of AI and machine learning to drive innovation, economic growth, and national sovereignty. With the Blackwell platform’s transformative technologies at its disposal, Indosat is poised to unleash a wave of innovation that will help redefine the possibilities of AI cloud services in Indonesia.

Through the integration of the NVIDIA Blackwell platform into its infrastructure, Indosat is empowering its business ecosystem and laying the groundwork for Indonesia to assert itself as a global leader in Sovereign AI. By leveraging the NVIDIA Blackwell platform’s processing power, Indosat is poised to unlock new frontiers of possibility, helping businesses across industries harness the full potential of AI and machine learning to drive productivity, efficiency, and innovation.

Indosat will leverage the NVIDIA Tensor Core GPU, based on the Blackwell platform, to deliver a massive speedup to inference workloads, making real-time performance possible for resource-intensive, multitrillion-parameter language models. Additionally, NVIDIA Tensor Core GPU, which includes NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs, will enable cloud network acceleration, composable storage, zero-trust security, and GPU compute elasticity in hyperscale AI clouds.

The NVIDIA Tensor Core GPU, also based on the Blackwell platform, will be available on NVIDIA DGX Cloud. This AI supercomputing service gives enterprises immediate access to the infrastructure and software needed to train advanced generative AI models.

Indosat first announced its strategic relationship with NVIDIA at Mobile World Congress 2024, in February.

As Indonesia embarks on its journey toward technological excellence and global competitiveness, Indosat stands at the forefront, driving the nation toward a future of innovation, opportunity, and progress. With the NVIDIA Blackwell platform, Indosat is poised to unlock the full potential of AI and machine learning and help pave the way for Indonesia to assert itself as a global powerhouse in the new era of sovereign AI.
