Beijing Telecom and ZTE have succesfully completed multiple 5G-A innovation verifications and deployed 3CC (three-carrier aggregation), large bandwidth, Redcap and other key 5G-A technologies across various use cases. 3CC (three-carrier aggregation) is one of the key features of 5G-A. By aggregating carriers in three different frequency bands into an ultra-large bandwidth network, higher speeds can be achieved, which will greatly improve user experience in crowded places such as subway stations, stadiums, and tourist attractions.
In response to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 'Signal Upgrade' call to action, Beijing Telecom and ZTE worked closely together to adopt the 5G-A three-carrier aggregation technology and complete the 5G-A 3CC deployment on the northern section of the Beijing Metro Line 17, achieving a downlink peak rate of more than 3Gbps in the coverage area.
To further verify the innovation and evolution capabilities of 5G-A networks, Beijing Telecom deployed ZTE's 5G-A large-bandwidth network in the Yanqing District to deliver 10G peak network experience. The pilot project adopted the latest 5G-A base station product networking architecture and the latest generation of 5G-A equipment to ensure a high-speed Internet experience.
