Tango Telecom, a provider of highly scalable policy and charging control solutions has recently announced its partnership with Interop Technologies, a provider of core wireless solutions for advanced messaging, over-the-air (OTA) handset management, and connectivity gateways. The partnership will enable Tango to offer mobile network operators cloud based policy and charging control solutions that will enable them to roll out innovative data features. Among those features include the multiple device or family plans that let subscribers allocate a percentage of their monthly data pool to different devices or family members. Other use cases include support for service tiers, parental controls, prepaid mobile broadband passes, and subscriber rewards programs, among others. The Tango-Interop partnership will also enable oeprators to optimize the use of the network resources by leveraging on cloud services that don't require large investment in the network infrastructure; and will also enable Operators to monetize their services while enhancing subscriber experience.
