SK Telecom announced that it has signed an MoU with the Central State Government of Paraguay to supply 10,000 units of its smart learning robot Albert and pilot-launch the Smart Robot Coding School program in Paraguay.
Smart Robot Coding School is a training program developed by SK Telecom to allow children to learn how to develop software in a fun and easy way. The two companies plan to open the Smart Robot Coding School program at all grade schools located in the Central State. The operator is currently in talks with the Paraguay Ministry of Education and Culture to roll out the program throughout the nation, which will lead to expanded exports of its smart learning robots.
The operator and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) have already jointly initiated the Smart Robot Coding School program in Costa Rica as part of their pilot project to enhance children’s learning capacity in mathematics.
