C Spire Fiber, a “carrier’s carrier” offering full-service provider transport, Internet, and broadband network services, has chosen NetCracker Technology Outside Plant Management solution, Data Migration Services and Service Order Management solution, to accelerate its broadband service delivery. Rolling out the new solutions, enables C Spire Fiber to optimize the service delivery, enhance order fulfillment accuracy, and improvise physical and logical inventory data across its 4,400-mile fiber optic network.
The solution is required to support the rapid growth and increasing broadband services in business and residential segment such as fiber-to-the-home. With NetCracker’s Outside Plant Management solution, and data migration services, C Spire Fiber has centralized its physical and logical network inventory data. This enables comprehensive, map-based management of its outside plant assets for modeling and documenting cables, splices, and terminations.
According to NetCracker, the Service Order Management solution has been deployed to enable C Spire Fiber to gain an end-to-end view of every order, and substantially improve staff efficiency and order fulfillment timeliness and accuracy. As a result, C Spire Fiber will reduce operating expenses across its ordering and fulfillment processes; leverage more intelligent analytics to handle process issues and order volume proactively; accelerate revenue through faster service turn-up; and improve facilities construction efficiency.
